Directions: From Newcastle Emlyn, proceed down the main street, through the town centre, and over the bridge. Continue straight up the hill on the B4571 and stay on this road for approximately 3 miles, passing through Blaen-cil-llech. Take the next turning left, signed for Brongest. After about half a mile (just after Bronllys Garage), turn left and go down the hill into the village of Brongest. Porthyrhyd is on the left hand side in the middle of the village, just opposite the telephone box and a right hand turning.
